Newark - Judith Ann Melick, 73, of Newark, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 16, 2021. She was born in Lima, OH on September 29, 1948, to the late John and Betty (Patterson) Coates.

Judith is survived by her adoring husband of 54 years, Doug Melick: children, Timothy (Angela) Melick, David (Laurie Ann) Melick, Cindy (Mike) Melick, and Kristen Wolpe; brothers and sisters, Terry Lee Coates, Cathy Coates, Jackie (Dave) Heffelfinger; grandchildren, Audria, Andrew, Adam, Abby, Lauren, Kayla, Connor, Logan, Elise, Bryce, Cade, Jenna, Christopher, and Paige.

In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Marie Melick.

The family will greet friends and relatives from 6-8 pm Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home 985 N. 21st. Newark, Ohio 43055.
