A funeral service for Jamie A. Ford, 58, of Newark, will be at 8 p.m., Tuesday at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, with the Rev. Ernest Schehm officiating.
Mrs. Ford passed away May 19, 2007 at her residence. She was born Oct. 27, 1948, in Newark, to Jean (Baird) Miller and the late James Miller.
Mrs. Ford was a water aerobics instructor for Heartland. She was a member of the Looney Toons card club, and she was a former 4-H adviser, cosmetologist and cake decorator.
In addition to her mother, Jean, of Newark, she is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Bob L. Ford, whom she married Aug 8, 1967; three children, Jill A.(Wayne) Parent, of Newark, Sean G. (Amy) Ford, of Hopewell and Bobbi L. Smith, of Newark; four grandchildren, Greg Baker, of Newark, Shawna Ford, Shelby Ford and Robbie Ford, all of Hopewell; four cousins; and her dog, Annie.
In addition to her father, James Miller, she was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Miller.
