 William Thomas DeLawder, Jr., 64, of TR 1390, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville.

He was born March 30, 1947 in Newark to the late William T., Sr. and Dorothy H. (Sipple) DeLawder. He married Marilyn (Patrick) DeLawder on April 9, 2000, who survives. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving tours in Korea and in Vietnam during the war. He was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Warsaw and the Minutemen organization. He was an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying fishing, gardening, cooking, woodworking, and animals, especially his late dog, "Thor".

In addition to his wife, Marilyn Delawder of Frazeysburg; he is survived by a daughter, Monique (Brian) Dobson of West Bedford, a son, Jeffrey (Michelle) DeLawder of Bensalem, PA; four grandchildren, Jared & Reid Dobson and Rhys & Logan DeLawder; a sister, Denise DeLawder of Newark; a niece, Kimberly Tugman, a nephew, William H. Peddicord, III; and an uncle, Andrew Sipple.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time on Sunday.
