A funeral service for Lois "Madge" Gibson, 70, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Brucker and Kishler funeral home. Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Madge, a homemaker, passed away January 30, 2017, at Newark Hills Health and Rehabilitation. She was born June 29, 1946, in Hinton, WV, to the late Bill and Selby (Pack) Brabb. 

She was a member of Grace Fellowship, former owner of Today's, Yesterdays, and Tomorrows Memories. She was an artist and painter. 

She is survived by her son, William Joseph "Zeke" (Cassie) Gibson of Newark; daughters, Donna Alena (Mindy McCoy) Gibson of WI and Jeannie Gibson of CA; brother, Bobbie Joe (Brenda) Brabb; sister, Helen Brabb; grandchildren, Kyle (fiancé, Ashley Archer) Bryan, Trevor Gibson, Dru Gibson, Alex Gibson and Linley Gibson, and great-granddaughter, Aya Gibson.
